G. CARL FAST PARK AND WRIGHT ST PARK



Fast Park in downtown Jonesville. It is much like the New England style town square in the northeast part of the U.S. The clock was purchased by the Downtown Development Authority, and was installed in the star across from the Jonesville Middle School in February 2008. (Photo courtesy of Larry Jose). The statue was placed there in 1909 by the General Army of the Republic to honor veterans. Wright St Park offers a pavilion, tennis and basketball courts, baseball diamonds, and lots of playground equipment for the children. A rock climbing wall was added in 2004.
